After the first three academic years enrolled at the Scuola Internazionale (International School of Neurocognitive Rehabilitation), students acquire the title of “Neurocognitive Rehabilitator Expert”.
During the first year, an array of knowledge that lays the foundations of the Neurocognitive Theory (TNC) is taught. It is comprised of the neurophysiological, neuropsychological, pedagogical and philosophical/epistemological fields. The analysis, from a rehabilitative point of view, of this set of knowledge brings to light the first tools to understand the pathology and plan exercises.
In the second year, the observation of the patient, the elaboration of a Profile underlying the choice of the Action to be Modified, and the exercise planning are considered in a more detailed way.
During the third year, the neurocognitive interpretation of several pathologies in adults and children is examined.
The first academic year of the Scuola takes place every three years. The most recent cycle began in the 2018/2019 school year. The next cycle will start in the 2021/2022 school year.
It is also possible to apply for enrollment in years other than the first, upon individual evaluation of the CV.
