Basic Course in Neurocognitive Rehabilitation according to the Comparison of Actions

The course is designed to deepen basic notions of Neurocognitive Rehabilitation according to the Comparison of Actions, from an updated perspective. It enables participants to initiate the construction of coherent Neurocognitive Reasoning.

Through this course, the student will be able to observe patient behavior according to the Comparison of Actions, define the Profile of the neurological patient, and choose the present action to be modified. Students will learn to recognize whether or not a rehabilitation exercise is neurocognitive. They will also learn to use neurocognitive tools throughout the rehabilitation process, including Observation, Exercise, and Final Evaluation.

The attendee will gain the knowledge to constitute and organize their Neurocognitive Reasoning through the Neurocognitive Rehabilitative Records. Students will be able to plan and implement basic exercises for recovering upper and lower limb actions. Through practice with patients and exercises among students, the understanding and building into practice of theoretical aspects is facilitated.

The course, which is taught by Neurocognitive Rehabilitator Teacher, is developed over 44 hours, divided into two sessions, and includes both theoretical lessons and practical activities with the patient and participants.

The maximum attendance for the course is 30.  ECM credits are provided for the following professional figures: physical therapists, speech-language pathologist, doctors, neuropsychomotor therapists in developmental age, occupational therapists, and doctors in rehabilitation sciences.
